Ingredients

  • ·       1 ½  kilogram of fish parts
  • ·       1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • ·       Cumin seed powder, 1  ½  teaspoons (powdered jeera)
  • ·       Red chili powder, 2 teaspoon
  • ·       Powdered turmeric, ½  tsp (Haldi)
  • ·       1 tablespoon all-zest powder (Garam masala)
  • ·       1 teaspoon of garlic ginger glue
  • ·       7 to 8 tablespoons of lemon juice or the juice of 4 to 5 lemons

Procedure

  1. 1   Wash the fish thoroughly and make sure there are no scales left on the skin of the fish.
  2. 2.    Add lemon juice to your fish and let it sit for 5 mins.
  3. 3.    Add all the remaining spices along with 1 tbsp of oil and coat all the fish pieces well.
  4. 4.    Cover the marinated fish and refrigerate for 2 to 4 hours or until needed.
  5. 5.    Shallow-fry the fish at medium flame until they turn golden brown.
  6.      Serve hot with rice or as it is.
