About This Recipe

Mango is a tropical fruit that is considered to be one of the most versatile fruits on the planet. It is popular in numerous countries around the world and can be used for many purposes. In India, mango is also used for making aam ka halwa, a sweet and delicious dessert.

Aam ka halwa is a traditional dish of Pakistan, but it is also loved in many other countries. It is made using mango pulp; sugar; ghee (clarified butter); dried nuts and fruits; and spices like cardamom and saffron. The ingredients are blended together and heated in a pan, stirring frequently until the mixture thickens. The halwa is then cooled and served either warm or cold.

The preparation process of aam ka halwa can be a time-consuming task. Traditionally, mango pulp is extracted manually by grating the mangoes. The pulp is then mashed and boiled with ghee, sugar, nuts, and spices. The mixture is then cooked until it becomes thick and then cooled and served.

Making aam ka halwa is an art form. The ingredients must be added in the right proportions and cooked for the right amount of time to get a perfect consistency. The halwa must also be stirred constantly to avoid burning the mixture. It is best when the halwa is served hot with a generous amount of ghee swirled over the top.
