About This Recipe
In Pakistan, Afghanistan, India, and
other regions of Central Asia, Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-al-Adha
with the consumption of sheer khurma, also known as sheer khurma. It is a
traditional Muslim breakfast as well as a dessert. Vermicelli, condensed milk, sugar, and a variety of dry fruits are
used to make this dessert. Cardamom, pistachios, almonds, cloves, saffron,
raisins, and rose water may also be included, depending on the location.
After the Eid prayer on the morning
of Eid, this special dish is offered to the family for breakfast. It is also
served to all overnight guests throughout the day. It was originally made from
dates from Afghanistan blended with milk from Afghanistan and dry fruits and
nuts from Afghanistan. In India, it is changed by adding fried semi-sweets and
caramelized sugar.
Similar to kheer, this dish is fairly simple to prepare if the measurements are followed. If not, it could become either overly thick or underly thin. Depending on your needs, the recipe can simply be doubled, tripled, or reduced.
So grab your supplies and prepare this delicious treat. Additionally, you don't have to wait until Eid to prepare and consume it.

Enjoy
When kept in an airtight container,
sheer khurma lasts for roughly two to three days in the refrigerator. Due to
the delicate nature of the desert, do not keep it out for longer than 8 hours.
On medium heat, you can also heat it
on the stovetop. When heating, add more milk if it has thickened.
